Here’s an important legend for those living outside Canada, about to read this post:
Tim Hortons– an iconic coffee, donut and snack shop found all over Canada
Timbit– a donut hole, mini treat
My six year old son, was talking with his older sister about Timbits Soccer, (a community soccer program sponsored by Tim Hortons). He was wondering if his sister was too old to be a Timbit. We said “She may be too big to be a Timbit, but you aren’t”. He responded, “If she’s too big to be a Timbit, is she a donut?”
This is a cute story I wanted to share with you, AND it is an example of the power of creative thinking, and being curious without self consciousness. So what would you say at work, to a friend, or regarding a business proposal if there “were no bad ideas”- only idea strings that lead you to the next, and next, and next, some fertile–some not? What would you let yourself say?
