We walk with many, through our journey in life. Some for a short time, others for longer. Sometimes our best supporters are the most surprising. They creep out of the shadows, with a knowing that is just right for the moment, and if we had not allowed ourselves to be present to the exchange, we would have missed out. There is always something to be gained and learned, and even more if we don’t pretend to know what we are supposed to learn. Move the assumptions out of the way, about who could be your ally. Sometimes it’s simple.
If you want to learn to fly, you could read a book, visit a museum, comb a library, go to flight school, ask an engineer or you could even ask a pilot. Or, if you want to fly–ask a bird.
