Wednesday is International Peace Day. In the spirit of that, I share with you some words written by Jann Arden. They have a sense of grace and prayer about them. Let them fill you. Peace begins from within.
“Light is all you are. A blinding white that cleans us all and keeps the night at bay. May your restlessness be smotherd in the deepest of sleeps. Heavy and weighted down you will be with peace and quiet…may you find ease in every moment, and clarity in your every thought. May pain be shattered and liquid and poured down at your feet. May fear be washed from all your days. May it be kept far from your house at night, locked away by hope and triumph. May you never feel alone, for you are never alone.
Love is perched at the foot of your bed while you sleep, and upon your heart when you awake. Love surrounds and abounds and soars and saturates and lives in your life. Love is everywhere. You are the miracle we all pray for. You are the beacon we are all running towards.”
